First time to make a post, but I’ve been a heavy user for eight years.
My issue seems to have been introduced with the update to 3.12.2, but it’s subtle and not easy to explain.
I usually listen at 1.30 speed, and since the update playback quality has changed for the worse. It seems a little faster than before, but more importantly speech is contracted in some way, like listening to somebody who doesn’t enunciate properly and words aren’t pronounce normally but pulled together making the whole much harder to understand and listen to.
the weird thing is that this is quite pronounced on some podcasts (feeds), perceptible but not obvious on some others, while some podcasts sound completely normal like before.
I don’t know how to describe it better and have no idea what is going on, but feeds in the first category are now hard to listen to. I need to reduce speed, and sometimes still listen very intently to hear everything.
Anybody else noticing this change?
