Environment
Android version: 16
OS version: 6.6.98-android15-8-pe17667d-abogkiS931BXXS9CZE1-4k
AntennaPod version: 3.12.0-beta3
Model: SM-S931B
Device: pa1q
Product: pa1qxeea
Manufacturer: Samsung
Expected behaviour:
When a downloaded episode is paused and remains in the queue, its playback position should be preserved. If another downloaded episode is moved above it in the queue and played to completion, the paused episode should resume from its previous playback position.
Current behaviour:
When I pause a downloaded episode after listening to it for a few minutes, its playback position is saved correctly. I then move another downloaded episode above it in the queue and listen to that episode until it finishes.
After the second episode ends, AntennaPod automatically starts playing the previously paused episode. However, instead of resuming from the saved playback position, it starts from the beginning.
Interestingly, before the second episode finishes, the progress indicator of the paused episode still shows the correct playback position in the queue. The position is only reset when playback automatically switches back to that episode.
First occurred:
I am not sure, I noticed it a few days ago.
Steps to reproduce:
-
Start playing a downloaded episode from the queue.
-
Pause the episode after a few minutes.
-
Move another episode above the paused episode in the queue.
-
Play the second episode until it finishes.
-
Let AntennaPod automatically continue with the next episode in the queue.
Expected result:
The previously paused episode resumes from its saved playback position.
Actual result:
The previously paused episode starts from the beginning.
Environment:
No unusual settings or hardware. The issue occurs during normal playback using the queue.
Crash info:
No crash occurs.
I searched the existing issues but couldn’t find a report describing this issue. Apologies if I missed an existing one.
