Player closes from now bar after being paused for 30 seconds on one ui 8

Device model: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Expected behaviour: When podcast is paused player remains open in now bar and in the quick toggle menu

Current behaviour: When paused for around 30 seconds player will close from the now bar/quick toggle menu

First occurred: Today

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Play Podcast
  2. Pause from now bar
  3. Disappears

Environment: Bluetooth earbuds, changed antennapod from optimized battery to unrestricted

It’s normal that when AntennaPod has been paused by another app for around 30 seconds it can’t be resumed from any controls other than the AntennaPod app itself. That said, if you want it to remain visible in the other locations you can enable the Persistent playback controls option in the User Interface menu.
