I’ll have a session of listening to some podcast episodes
For some other reason, I’ll want to skip some, or go back some. I’ll unlock my phone, probably long press the icon (or not), choose queue.
I’ll see the queue and start to move my thumb down to the player, when…
Attenapod stops playing and vanishes in front of my eyes
This is not frequent. Happens every couple days or perhaps once a day at most.
Has happened with and without Bluetooth headphones.

Dropping this here for now, hoping some others might have seen this. I’ll keep trying and see if I can repo it. It is rather elusive, but unsettling when it happens.
I have a theory it’s the OS that is killing or stopping AntennaPod, as it always seems to happen a few seconds after bringing the phone out of sleep/idle while AntennaPod is playing.
I regularly see the exact same thing. Unexpected shutdown when re-opening the app during use. Recently, there have also been frequent instances where playback unexpectedly stalls (without the app shutting down). However, this may not be related. (Android 16)
Today was playing podcasts. Several had played, and I wanted to look at the episode notes of the current one.
Pulled down my notification drawer, tapped the media player. This opened the episode view, but it was on an entry that was deleted 10-20 minutes prior. It was on the screen for a fraction of a second, then AntennaPod stopped and disappeared.
