Expected behaviour:
Podcast plays smoothly from start to finish
Current behaviour:
Podcast replays last ten to twenty seconds multiple times through each show
First occurred: (e.g. about x days/weeks ago)
About a week ago, chalked it up to user error
Steps to reproduce:
Listen
Hear the same thing twice in a row
Anger and frustration
Environment: (Settings you have changed (e.g. Auto Download). “Unusual” devices you use (e.g. Bluetooth headphones). Did you select another media player?)
Tried playing via Bluetooth headphones and out phone speaker, same result
Yep, look how many times this issue has been reported and yet it is still prevalent. I have this issue as well, and I’ve had it for many months, and I really can’t believe that it hasn’t been addressed yet.
It happens both when streaming and with downloaded podcasts.
sorry-life got busy. Both streaming and downloaded episodes, and what I thought was just one provider has bled into all podcasts. It just makes me feel very lightly crazy when I hear the same sentences a minute later, and now logging back in I see this has been brought up pretty consistently since May. REally makes me miss google podcasts and may need to consider something new. Thanks!
I will say I have listened to the same episode on various platforms and this is the only platform with issues so I am not due it is “ad placement” as some have suggested.
I was so enjoying this app and I hope to continue using it but
