Preventing audio clipping on some Bluetooth speakers

App version: x.y.z (state whether from Google Play/F-Droid/Custom built APK)

Problem you may be having, or feature you want:Many Bluetooth speakers clip the first word or syllable while listening to podcasts or audiobooks. This is supposed to be a feature, designed for music playback. It can make listening to podcasts a bit unpleasant. There is a simple solution, however.

Suggested solution: The Smart Audiobook player app has an option to turn on an inaudible high-frequency tone generator. This fools the Bluetooth speaker but has no other effect. When listening to AntennaPod I have to turn on a separate tone generator (23,000 Hz). But then the speaker buttons don’t work properly. I would suggest that a tone generator be incorporated into the app.
