Queued episodes magically download themselves

Expected behaviour: add episodes to the queue should do just that.

Current behaviour: an added episode will get downloaded

First occurred: I observed just a few times in the past that an episode gets downloaded, but in this extreme form I noticed it just now.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. This
  2. Then that
  3. Then this
  4. Etc.

Add an episode to the queue. (doesn’t matter if in episode screen or in a specific podcast)

Refresh the podcast. The download process starts.

Works now every time.

Environment: (Settings you have changed (e.g. Auto Download). “Unusual” devices you use (e.g. Bluetooth headphones). Did you select another media player?)

Auto download is enabled, but turned off in the podcasts this occurs.

Are the episodes still somehow marked as “new” when you add them to the queue? Auto-download should only consider “new” episodes.

I took a look again, and interestingly it doesn’t matter if the episodes have a “new” marking or not. And as I said, auto download is enabled globally, but disabled in the podcast setting, and still the download starts.

Disabling auto download in the global settings stops it, when I turn it on again, it reoccurs.
