Regression? Smart Shuffle direction

App version: 3.3.2 (state whether from Google Play/F-Droid/Custom built APK)

Android version: 13 (Please mention if you are using a custom rom!)

Device model: Pixel 3

Expected behaviour:

Before one of the last updates I was able to pick the direction of the smart shuffle. Right now, it only orders them in one direction making the newest episode the first one in the queue. However, I always used the opposite direction: The oldest first.

Current behaviour:

Since there is the new ordering view, which is really nice and much better then the menu we had before!!!, I cannot select which way the smart shuffle works.
First occurred: in the last few days (not exactly sure)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to the queue
  2. click on the three dot menu in the top right corner, select ordering
  3. pick smart shuffle

Setting the direction does work on my device. Are you sure that there is something to change the direction of? Smart shuffle shuffles the subscriptions. Only if there are multiple episodes of the same subscription, the order determines which of these comes first. It does not influence the order between different subscriptions. Nothing changed there recently - maybe the episodes in your queue changed?
