Searching for a term shows podcast channels instead of individual episodes

I usually search for a well-known person and listen to a couple of their podcast episodes from different podcasts. I don’t want to subscribe to those podcast channels; I just want to download and save the specific episodes I’m interested in.

I currently use the Apple Podcasts web interface to find these episodes because it shows individual episodes separately from podcast channels.

Would it be possible to show individual episodes in AntennaPod’s search results as well, so that I can directly download and listen to them?

If that isn’t possible, another option would be to let users click on a podcast channel from the search results and immediately see episodes matching the search term. This would make it easy to find and download the relevant episodes.

If that is also not possible, perhaps a search box could be added when opening a podcast channel from the search results. Users could search within that specific podcast channel for the term and download the relevant episodes without having to subscribe to the channel.

This would make it much easier to find and listen to specific episodes without subscribing to podcasts that I don’t intend to follow.

That part’s easy. I just searched on a word that seemed interesting for test purposes, clicked on one of the podcasts in the search results, and clicked on one of the episodes in that podcast. I could have chosen to stream or download the episode at that point.

What’s not supported (so far as I know) is the search-within-a-search that you describe. If I wanted to do that I’d go to Google because it offers more search options and I could also find episodes from other media. From those results I’d go to AntennaPod (for podcasts) or YouTube or other sites where the media lives and listen to the episode(s) that look interesting.
