Is there an easy way to see all the podcasts from a specific publisher in the app? I expected that clicking the publisher’s name would take me to a list of all their shows, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
So far, the only way I’ve found is to manually search for the publisher’s name, but that feels a bit cumbersome. Just wondering if I’ve missed something
Is that something which any other podcast apps allow you to do?
Just given it a go and entered Goalhanger into the search bar and that comes up with a list of all their podcasts.
Not sure. I don’t use other podcast apps but also not sure why that matter?
What prompted my question is that a publisher has a podcast that I don’t see in Antennapod when simply searching the publisher name but can find searching for the specific podcast name (and yes, it has publisher info).
Admittedly it is not a major issue. I just thought it would be nice UX to be able to touch the publisher name and then see all their podcasts.
Which podcast was that? Maybe something odd about the way the publisher’s name is included in the info.
In any case I would think any such new function would be done by offering to search on highlighted text using the existing search functionality. There is already the option to do a Bing Search (why Bing?) on highlighted text but a more targeted search could be useful.

It looks like this was already proposed and rejected in favour of improved/advanced search.
I must say I’m not sure the use case being put forward (and which I also support) is fully overlapping with an advanced search, but perhaps I’m just missing some details on how that search would work.
I think the search currently only checks the podcast title & description fields; not sure about the ‘Author’ field. If not checked currently, we could expand that.
Note also that the search is very picky; we only do exact matches. If there’s no exact match, then a search result is not returned.
The other request got rejected because it asked for a specific list for a publisher in a dedicated new screen, which is different from this entry here (seeing everything from a publisher in the general search results) and different from what we then said as the alternative (have a dedicated ‘publisher’ search field and open the search with that search field filled).
Currently searching the Description and not the Publisher field does not totally square with my cursory playing with the example given. The given podcast was the only one by that publlsher with the publisher name in the description. But not included in the search result for the publisher name only whereas all the others were.
I could speculate as to how the search algorithm works that would lead to that state of affairs but someone who actually knows the algorithm would be best placed to take this further.
