Share link in certain podcasts broken

Android version: A15 Lineage OS 22

Expected behaviour:

Click share from 3dot menu, should bring up social message with link to episode.

Current behaviour:

Social message on some podcasts (example hidden brain) only links a website platform like siriusxm.com or audacy.com and not the podcast or the episode.
Within the message you can find the media file but this is unhelpful when sharing the podcast. This is probably an issue with the podcast and not with antennapod but I thought it is worth asking here.

Yeah, that’s a problem with the podcast specifying unrelated URLs in their “episode website” field

Ah ok, yeah I just checked the rss feed and they don’t have a field for episode website but they have the url for the podcast media file and then they have a field “link” which just is the siriusxm website. Really strange since siriusxm doesn’t host the podcast.

I’ll try reaching out to the podcast people. At least some of these podcasts have their website in their description on AntennaPod and I can use that for sharing.
