Show remaining time randomly switches off

Long time frequent user, on latest, 3.11.0 via Obtanium into GitHub on GrapheneOS with the widget on my home screen. Regularly use with Bluetooth headphones and Bluetooth car connection. Lots of subscriptions direct with mainstream services and with some self hosted things, but not gpodder.

Every so often (roughly once a month or six weeks but not been accurately tracking), show remaining time is not activated - the end time shown for a podcast is the length of the podcast rather than minutes remaining and when I go into UI settings, the toggle is set to off.

Its obviously not that big a deal, and I’m not aware of any other settings being reset at the same time as that’s the only noticeable one to me.

Anyone else have this issue, or any suggestions for a debug flow to get to the root cause?

My guess would be that you accidentally tap the time at the right of the progress bar on the player screen

TIL! That quite possibly checks out, I’ve fast forwarded to the end of a few podcasts recently and I didn’t know that was a clickable control. Thanks!
