Skip back a second or two when resuming from interruption

App version

3.6.1 from Google Play

Problem you may be having, or feature you want

I often listen to podcasts while driving and navigating with Google Maps, so the “pause for interruptions” feature is important to me. It would be even better if, after having been interrupted, AP could skip back a second or two, so I don’t miss a word that got cut in half by the interruption. Another app I use, Smart Audiobook Player, has this feature and I find it works well.

Suggested solution:

Add a setting “Skip Back After Interruption” that defaults to 0 seconds (current behavior), but allows choosing other options - 0.5, 1, 2 and 5 seconds would likely be good options.

When I do listen to a podcast while working it can be a bit of a faff to manually hit skip back on the van radio and having it done automatically would be a big boon. That said, many podcasts deserve to be listened to in one stretch with minimal interruptions. Listening to an expert explaning a new scientific discovery for example compared to a comedy sketch show,
