Sleep Timer Auto Reset

Problem you may be having, or feature you want:
Reset sleep timer on ANY interaction with the phone or AntennaPod. Obviously I am not asleep if I move play position, start another podcast, etc. Constantly find sleep timer shutting of play when I just did one of the above, checked email, weather, etc.
Can’t count the number of times that I am about to fall asleep, and it times out, requiring me to unlock the phone, reset sleep timer, resume play, and hope I fall asleep before it times out again.

Suggested solution:
Make an option to reset the sleep timer on any interaction with the phone.
Also, make the timeout longer, possibly with a warning beep when it begins.

I like this feature, I think it could be added a bit more to it.
There is an “auto-enable” checkbox in the sleep timer screen. However I havent found how it works exactly. I believe that there should be a setting to enable the sleep timer after a certain time of the day. Or after a certain time the phone is not being used and a certain time of the day.
Or maybe all of this is already there but I did not find it on settings nor the documentation.

From my understanding auto enabling sleep timer turn it on with your last settings when you start to play an episode.

The feature to automatically set sleep timer during selected hours when pressing Play works nice:

  • Sleep timer is configured to auto start (e.g. for 30 mins)
  • When timer counts to 0, playing stops
  • User clicks Play again, timer starts with initial value (e.g. 30 mins)

But I think there is a bug if user manually stops it while timer has not stopped it yet:

  • Sleep timer is configured to auto start (e.g. for 30 mins)
  • User manually stops podcast, before timer stops it (e.g. at minute 25)
  • Next time user clicks play - sleep times starts, but starts with remaining value (e.g. 5 mins), and not initial value (e.g. 30 mins).

I think sleep time should automatically start always with initial value (e.g. 30 mins) and not remaining time (e.g. 5 mins).

YES. And anytime I interact with the phone in any way, I am NOT asleep! So reset the timer.
