Smart Shuffle Episode Order Wrong For Episodes Published at the Same Time

Expected behaviour: When smart shuffling episodes into a queue that we’re released simultaneously I would expect the smart Shuffle to next sort by the order of episodes in the RSS feed or the episode number after sorting by date.

Current behaviour: Sorts by date and then by something else, presumably title or something, and the episodes end up backwards in the queue

First occurred: A while ago, didn’t have the energy to report it, most recently showed up in a paid podcast feed for sorry about the murder.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Smart Shuffle Queue arrow pointing up.
  2. Add two episodes that release at the same time and they might be out of order with the 2nd one coming first.

Wondering if this is caused by the publisher dropping the episodes with a procedure that takes no account of the episode order and AP is sorting by the timestamp with the “earlier” episode timestamped a few seconds later than the “later” episode?

Very much could be, I need to test it more exhaustively and understand more but the brain fog has really gotten to me recently. Will post on here if I manage to get round to it.
