Current behaviour:
Sometimes (not often, like once a day) playback of current episode hangs at the very end. When it happens, a fraction of sound is looped and is getting louder and louder. In such a case I press skip button and then it plays another episode, no problem. So it’s not very big problem.
It started to happen on 3.4. I was waiting for new release because i saw a lot of different problems in this release, unfortunately this small bug didn’t got fixed.
Does it happen to anybody else, or maybe it’s something in my phone?
First occurred: (e.g. about x days/weeks ago)
3.4
Steps to reproduce:
very hard to reproduce, as it happens rarely
I have the exact same issue.
Sometimes, at the end of an episode, AntennaPod does not pass to the following one and a fraction of second is looped. In my case the sound does not get louder.
It also start on V. 3.4.1.
I also have a Samsung S23 / Android 14 / One UI Version 6.1
1- When getting the issue, (when hearing the “micro” loop at the end of the track), the time continue to go ahead. The time is not looping.
2- It is not random but some podcast produce the loop issue others not. When I re-download a podcast with the loop, I get the loop again.
Same conclusion with podcast with no-loop
Increasing volume doesn’t happen lately, maybe one of the latest versions fixed it
If episode loops, it loops always. Only small fraction of my podcasts loops. I have many podcasts extracted from YT using Podsync, I will be checking if it happens only for those from YT, or others. But I suspect it’s audio format/codec dependent.
