Not too much is happening over at openpodcastapi.org except the great work by one person (just to be clear: that person is not me). In future I would love to be able to get more (knowledgeable) people involved and be able to spend more time on it myself.
However, there are costs involved - for now just to keep the domain alive. (Hosting of the basic website is sponsored by Netlify - this may change in future.) I am paying Gandi.net € 38,70 for a year for this domain. (It’s a bit expensive for a domain, but even at my cheap Dutch hosting provider – which I want to get rid of – a renewal would cost € 30,24.)
The donation would fall under 5. Upstream & Peer contributions of our Donation Expenses Policy. Would there be any objections to this?
