Expected behaviour: Hours listened are recorded in the month it is listened to.
Current behaviour: At the start of the month, the previous month’s hours listened decreases and the current month’s hours listened increases beyond what is expected.
First occurred: I have been noticing and following the issue for a few months now.
Steps to reproduce:
- Just listen to podcasts at the start of the month.

On 31 Dec my total hours listened to for 2023 was 822.7 hours.
On 3 Jan my total hours listened to for 2023 was 791 hours, and hours listened to for 2024 was 45.7 hours.
The only thing I can think of, is that I started listening to a podcast episode in 2023, did not complete it, and finished the podcast episode in 2024. The total hours listened to related to that podcast episode is then recorded in the period in which it was completed rather than when it was listened to.
Even if this is the case, I would not expect this stark difference.
