Problem you may be having, or feature you want:
I find it’s very inefficient to hold and pause on a podcast then select Mark as played, especially on a large set when you first subscribe.
Suggested solution:
Supporting swipe to archive would be a much faster and fluid UI flow.

For newly subscribed podcasts where there there are a lot of older episodes to mark as already played then I suggest using the Multi Select feature which includes Select All Above / Below options which then allows you to mark them as read in one go.
Ho thx, I’m aware of that feature… It’s not quite the same solution as it’s still difficult to mark them one by one, which is often handy in my workflow at least
SwipeActions are already implemented and should become available in some update soon, so I would consider this solved
