audiobookshelf is a self-hosted audiobook and podcast server, fully open-source. Could be interesting to add this as a sync option and alternative for gpodder.net or nextcloud.

I agree: Antennapod syncronization with audiobookshelf would be a fantastic improvement over gpodder.
