Total listening duration overview

App version: 3.6.0

Problem you may be having, or feature you want:
Hello everyone,

I’m new to this community. I’ve been a long-time user of Google Podcasts, but after its shutdown, I switched to AntennaPod. I’ve been using it for about 5 or 6 months now, and I absolutely love it.

I would like to request a new feature: the ability to see the total duration of all the podcasts I’ve listened to since the beginning. This could be presented in hours, days, or months of listening, and the data could be aggregated by month and year.

Suggested solution:
As a programmer, I’ve noticed that completed episodes are grayed out, indicating that AntennaPod already tracks the episodes the user has finished listening to. Based on this, I believe it should be possible to implement the feature I’ve described.

Screenshots / Drawings / Technical details:
I really like the AntennaPod Echo idea, which shows the number of podcasts I’ve listened to. It would be great if this feature could be added here as well.

Hi @ImadSaddik,

Welcome to the AntennaPod community! What you’re looking for is actually already possible. You have to go to the Subscriptions, and then tap on the :bar_chart: icon in the top-right. From there you’ll end up on the Statistics screen, where you can find the grand total.

Oops, How did I miss that? Thank you, @keunes for the quick response.

I think it could be great to move the statistics screen to the main menu to make it a bit more prominent (and also more clear than the icon on the subscriptions screen, which makes it kind of hard to find)
