Unable to setup authenticated rss feed - invalid token

App version: 2.7.1 from F-Droid

Android version: 13 (Graphene OS)

Device model: Pixel 6

Expected behaviour: Add RSS feed and authenticate my credentials

Current behaviour: “Error at line 41, column 43: not well-formed (invalid token)”, podcast does not appear in my list of subscribed podcasts.

First occurred:
2/15/2023 (which is the first time I have attempted to setup this feed)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Add Podcast
  2. Add Podcast by RSS address
  3. https://rss.premiereradio.net/podcast/clayandbuck.xml
  4. Press “Confirm”
  5. Enter my username and password
  6. Click “Confirm”

Environment: Nothing unusual

Did you try with your browser to confirm if the problem is with AntennaPod or the feed?

“invalid token” means that the podcast creator messed up their feed. Send them the error message. It’s probably a wrongly encoded ampersand character

Thanks all for the debugging advice, the browser gets a similar error, so the problem is with the feed.
