I wanted to suggest a potential feature that could enhance the sharing experience: Universal Links.
Similar to music apps like TIDAL or Deezer, this feature would allow users to share podcast links that intelligently open depending on the recipient’s setup:
If the recipient has Antennapod installed, tapping the link would open the episode directly in the Antennapod app.
If the recipient does not have Antennapod installed, the link would open a web page listing popular podcast apps, each link taking the user directly to the episode/artist/show in their preferred app.

This would make sharing much smoother, reduce friction for new users, and help your community discover podcasts more easily, regardless of the platform they use.
IDK a lot about it, but apparently there is a third-party platform called [Songlink/Odesli](https://odesli.co/), that has a free [API ]( Songlink / Odesli API - PublicAPI ), and apparently supports both music as well as podcast apps.

I can’t currently find the issue, but this is a thing that is already proposed and may get worked on.
The thing is that it is more complex than it seems. The examples you give are platforms that host the content, so it is easy for them to just share the web address that has that episode. AntennaPod’s case is different, it just plays an episode from a feed. It is easy to share the feed link, but to share it with an AntennaPod URL would require a more complicated setup, and probably encoding all the metadata on the URL, making it long and annoying to deal with.
I don’t think it can be reasonably expected of a podcast client to promote other podcast clients. There already are third parties who provide client-agnostic links. Many of them probably collect/sell as much listener data as possible in the process, but that’s another matter.
AntennaPod already makes it very easy to share podcasts with other AntennaPod users (and anyone who isn’t, is rightly treated as a potential user ); what still needs some refinement is sharing episodes, and that work is tracked in this ticket.
