Expected behaviour:
I would like to control antennapod with my smart watch Fossil Collidier HR, play/stop, Volume + - through gadgetbridge. I use Vinly form fdroid as music player and this can I control with my smartwatch.

Current behaviour:
Control is not possible, the watch doesn’t regonize that AntennaPod is playing files. Maybe the music player app uses a different channel or such a special Android thing.

First occurred: (e.g. about x days/weeks ago)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Play Podcast
  2. Try to control to the watch
  3. Not working
  4. Vinyl music player works immediately.

The watch is connected via bluetooth to gadgetbridge.


I don’t think it is a bug, maybe there is missing something.
