What is the function and purpose of the star in an episode

Device model: Google Pixel 9 pro XL

Expected behaviour: list of marked episodes

Current behaviour: no reation

First occurred: continuing

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Clicking on the star in the right upper corner while playing one episode
  2. The white star turns into black or back into white

What is the purpose of the star? Can I find a list of all marked episodes (favourite episodes….)? Are they protected against auto-delete? Or can I export a list?

Is it possible to see better information of the shownotes? So I can tag the episode in different ways (to different lists) - e.g. “interact, send to others, save” in the car and do that afterwards.

Starring an episode add it to favorites. You can found all your favorites in Episodes screen and filtering on favorites with star button. Favorites are not auto deleted from device.

A tip (even if it would not have given a lot of information in this case) if you didn’t already knew when long pressing a button usually there is a popup with the button label.

Makes the episode a favorite, and I think there’s an option to not delete favorites after they’ve played through and ended.
