What is the "overflow menu?"

I want to turn off video playing, and I note from posts that this can be done from the “overflow menu”. What is the overflow menu? How do I get to it?

That’s the menu you access using the icon with three dots.

Well, those three dots appear in almost every screen. But I do not see any place where I can turn off video playing. Please advise.

There only is a one-time switch, not an option to turn it off completely. To switch from video to audio, open the video and press the overflow menu on the video player.
