<I keep receiving in unsolicited podcasts in my in box. Why?
That sounds really frustrating. Your inbox shouldn’t be able to receive podcasts from feeds you aren’t subscribed to.
I recommend checking the Subscriptions tab for any forgotten feeds. Another possibility is a podcast that was renamed and/or changed focus. (I’ve seen that happen with podcasts that were started with a particular topic in mind, like a high-profile lawsuit, and then start dropping episodes from other podcasts when the big legal battle is over.)
The other gotcha I’ve seen is podcasts I am subscribed to dropping episodes of other podcasts they are associated with, or even cross-marketing with unrelated podcasts that they “think I might be interested in.”

Another possibility would be that you are not actually using AntennaPod but some knock-off. We had that in the past where someone copied AntennaPod’s source code and uploaded a crappy copy that subscribed to random feeds. Make sure to download only the official versions: Download – AntennaPod
