Would it be possible to show both the “fast foward skip time” and “rewind skip time” within the widget itself, this would be a nice addition, and bring it in line with a couple of similar apps.

I think this is a great idea and is one of the reasons I don’t use the widget. I also wish that there was an option for more than two buttons on the persistent notification.
I too would love this feature. I don’t know if it’s a big ask but maybe allowing 3-4 controls but having a menu to select which ones as well. I hated having a “next episode” button because it can be accidently hit in my pocket, but I realize others like hitting next episode in their pocket.
